Application rates for Bird repellent:

Apply 10L/ha at first sight of green tip with 1000 litres/ha water

 

·         In severe bird attack cases apply one week prior to expected attack. 

·         Copper must be 5 days pre or post

·         Apply at 5-7 day intervals thereafter.  If heavy bird pressure or new bird populations are invading the area, spray every row weekly. 

·         If bird attack occurs around flowering apply one week prior to flower buds forming. 

·         New growth is not protected.

·         Rain can wash Kiwiguard off. 

·         Re-apply after heavy rain and when birds start to re-enter the treated area.
